    EAD/ MUSIC - Dinosaur Stomps

    Posted by Mrs K Ferris
Today we thought about the sounds dinosaurs might make as they moved around! We used drums and tambourines to make loud noises and had a go at creating a 1, 2, 1, 2 beat using the instruments. We also used our bodies to tap our knees and clap our hands to create the beat too.

    KUW/ SCIENCE - Wonderdome

    Posted by Mrs K Ferris
We were lucky to receive a visit from Wonderdome this week! The children LOVED it! We got to explore our solar system and loved watching the planets, the sun, the moon and the stars racing around us in the dome. The children asked some super questions about space and some of them said they wanted to be astronauts when they grow up!

    KUW/ EAD - Building Boats

    Posted by Mrs K Ferris
We have been creating our own boats in the outdoor construction area. This links to our class text 'Lost and Found' where the penguin and the boy go to Antarctica on a row boat. The children worked together to create a lifeboat! They added jets on the back, a flag and a light. They even wrote 'lifeboat' using their phonics!
