E-Safety

E-Safety information page

At Berkeley Primary School we are committed to teaching children the skills they need to use the internet safely throughout their school years and beyond. We ensure we are a safe school by ensuring all children sign a Children’s E-Safety Agreement and parents sign a Parents E-Safety Agreement.

We teach E-Safety across the school at age appropriate levels, and refer to the SMART rules when using the internet in class.

We follow a clear and thorough E-Safety policy and ensure that any E-Safety issues are logged by staff and followed up as necessary.

We also ensure that special events over the year raise awareness of E-Safety. Our next E-safety event will be an E-Safety talk for years 3 and 4 run by the South West Grid for Learning.
