MRS ROBBINS (DEPUTY HEAD, YEAR 1 TEACHER, LITERACY/CREATIVE CURRICULUM SUBJECT LEADER)

I have been teaching at Berkeley Primary since 2004 and have taught Reception, Year 2 and Year 1.  My ethos in my work is to bring lots of fun into the classroom, to inspire and nurture happy, confident children in their learning.   When teaching, everyday's a new day and I always learn something new!

MISS WARD (PPA COVER & MATHS TEACHER)

I have been a teacher at Berkeley since 2005 and continue to enjoy teaching a fantastic group of children.  I love the rewarding nature of the job and being able to share the achievements of the pupils.  Both KS1 and KS2 pupils at Berkeley brighten any dull day!!

MISS BRATT (RECEPTION, FOUNDATION & EARLY YEARS TEACHER/SUBJECT LEADER )

After completing my BEd Primary Degree at the University of Gloucestershire, I am very excited to become part of Berkeley Primary School team. I am an enthusiastic and bubbley person and hope to put the fun into learning!

MISS COSGROVE (YEAR 5 TEACHER/ICT & SCIENCE SUBJECT LEADER)

Having completed my PGCE at Oxford Brookes, I started teaching at Berkeley Primary School in September 2009.  The children here are really happy and enthusiastic and it is great to see them really engaging in their learning.  When I am not teaching I enjoy archery, swimming and sewing.!

MRS CARTER (YEAR 3 TEACHER/R.E. & CREATIVE CURRICULUM LEADER)

I am really enjoying working at Berkeley. The school has a lovely atmosphere and the children are keen and eager to learn. Since starting here in September 2010 the children have ensured that I have smiled and laughed every day. Outside of school I love to travel, cook and read.

MRS ALLEN (P.P.A. COVER, MUSIC SUBJECT LEADER)

I was born in Bournemouth, but I was brought up in Surrey, with two sisters and a brother.  My greatest personal achievement, other than my three children, has been an amateur jockey at flat races.

MRS DOYLE (SPANISH TEACHER/MFL SUBJECT LEADER)

I've been working at the school since January 2005 since making the decision to focus on teaching Spanish after teaching Primary children for 15 years.  I was born in Spain where I trained as a teacher, but most of my teaching experience has been in the UK, where I did a PGCE.  I teach Spanish in four schools across the county.

MRS THOMAS (YEAR 4 TEACHER/P.E. SUBJECT LEADER)

I knew that I was going to have a great time from the moment I arrived at the school as all the children and staff made me feel very welcomed.  Out of school I enjoy visiting different places, swimming, windsurfing and going for long walks. Retail shopping has to be top of the list with a coffee and a cake break!

MRS DRISCOLL (NUMERACY TEACHER)

I have been a teacher since 1992 and I love working at Berekeley because the children are so keen to learn.  I am married and we have a little boy called Thomas.  Outside of school I like to do long country walk and go on camping holidays in our tepee.

MISS RYDER (PPA COVER TEACHER)

I was lucky enough to carry out my PGCE placement in this lovely school and am now so excited to be part of Berkeley's amazing team.  I thoroughly enjoy teaching and strive to make the children's days full of exciting, stimulating learning opportunities.  Outside of school I enjoy baking, playing cricket and chilling with my two gorgeous bunnies!
